Finished with a matte black paint, suitable for entertainment and stage settings, this shortening clutch is engineered from quenched and tempered grade 80 alloy steel, and is available for chain diameters from 7mm up to 13mm, equating to safe working load limits of 2t to 5.3t.
Fully traceable, each unit has a minimum breaking load of 4 times the stated working load limit, and meets the WLL perf. requirement of BS EN 1677-1.
Capable of operating safely in temperatures from -20°C up to +200°C without loss of integrity, these shortening clutches are stamped with the Onyx marking, material grade, size, product ID, and traceability code for added convenience and peace of mind.
